Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Yesno Labs (“YESNO LABS BILISIM TEKNOLOJI SANAYI VE TICARET LIMITED SIRKETI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Atomic Tab (the “Extension”) and our related website/web portal (the “Portal”) (together, the “Services”).

1) Scope

This Policy applies to:

  • The Atomic Tab browser extension
  • Our web portal where Pro users can sign up, log in, and manage subscriptions

2) Information We Collect

A. Information you provide

  • Account information: email address and authentication information. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic Google account profile information needed to authenticate you and determine whether you have Pro access.
  • Support communications: information you include when contacting us (e.g., emails, bug reports).
  • Subscription-related information: your subscription plan status (e.g., monthly/yearly, active/canceled), billing history/receipts identifiers. Payment card details are processed by our payment processor and are not stored by Yesno Labs.

B. Information collected automatically

Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:

  • Device and technical information: browser type/version, operating system, language, timestamps, and basic diagnostic data.
  • Usage information: interaction events such as feature usage, error logs, and performance metrics.
  • Extension diagnostics: for the Extension only, we use Sentry to collect limited crash and error information for bug reporting and troubleshooting, such as extension version, browser/OS information, timestamps, and error logs.
  • Website analytics: for the Portal/website only, we use Google Analytics to understand website traffic and usage. Google Analytics is not used in the Extension.

We do not intentionally collect the content of other websites you visit. The Extension is designed to function as a productivity tool (todo list, habit tracker, pomodoro timer, notes, checklists).

C. Local-only data

Atomic Tab stores most user content locally in your browser.

Except for login/account information and information needed to determine Pro status, user data such as:

  • habits and habit tracking entries,
  • notes,
  • checklists,
  • todos and task lists,
  • pomodoro/timer stats and preferences,
  • and basic app settings

is stored locally in your browser.

You may also back up/export this local data by downloading and saving it on your device (for example, to your Downloads folder).

3) How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide and operate the Services (including login, Pro features, and subscription status)
  • Authenticate users, including through Google Sign-In, and determine Pro access status
  • Process subscription management through the Portal (via our payment processor)
  • Maintain security, prevent fraud/abuse, and troubleshoot issues
  • Improve and develop features, including performance and reliability
  • Provide notes functionality, including embedded content such as YouTube videos
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

4) Legal Bases (EEA/UK and similar jurisdictions)

Where applicable, we process personal data under the following legal bases:

  • Contract: to provide the Services you request (e.g., Pro access)
  • Legitimate interests: to secure, maintain, and improve the Services
  • Consent: where required (e.g., certain optional analytics or marketing)
  • Legal obligations: where we must comply with law

5) Sharing of Information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the Services (e.g., hosting, databases, customer support tools, error monitoring, and website analytics). They may process data on our behalf under contractual protections.
  • Payment processor(s) to handle subscription payments and billing (we do not receive your full card number).
  • Legal and safety recipients when required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and security (e.g., responding to lawful requests).
  • Business transfers if we’re involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets (we’ll provide notice where required).

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

6) Cookies and Similar Technologies

  • Portal/Website: may use cookies or similar technologies for login sessions, security, preferences, and measuring site performance, including through Google Analytics.
  • Extension: typically uses browser storage (not third-party cookies) to save settings and your local data.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. If you disable cookies, some Portal features may not work (e.g., staying logged in).

7) Data Retention

We keep information only as long as necessary for the purposes described:

  • Account data: retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward, unless you request deletion (subject to legal requirements).
  • Subscription records: may be retained as required for accounting/tax/legal compliance.
  • Logs/diagnostics: retained for a limited period to maintain and improve the Services.

8) Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

9) Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

10) International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers (e.g., contractual protections).

If you embed YouTube videos inside notes, your browser may connect directly to those third-party services to load that content, and those third parties may collect information according to their own privacy policies.

11) Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed specifically to Children. If you believe that a child has provided their personal information to us, please contact us at contact@yesnolabs.io so that we can take steps to delete it from our databases.
